Your Voice is America’s Voice

Community Blog

Greetings, friends, and welcome back to another community blog post! With election season fast approaching, I wanted to take a moment to talk about something deeply personal to me: voting.

I am as American as it gets. My grandparents were teachers, small business owners, and military veterans. My mother is a nurse, my dad is a logistical warehouse manager, and I was raised by postal workers and grocery store clerks. To me, casting a ballot is fundamental to our civil rights and constitutional freedoms.

It’s no secret that I’d love to be one of those folks in Congress wearing a little flag pin. But realistically, my platform and passion lie in advocacy—making a difference and ensuring our community’s voices are heard. America gives us incredible freedom, and voting is one simple way to give back to the country we love.

I don’t care whom you vote for—red, blue, donkey, or elephant. What matters is that you study the issues and know the candidates. Ask yourself: Who is going to stand up for what you believe in and support you in the long term?

What if the candidate you vote for doesn’t win? That’s always a possibility. On day one, show up at their office. Introduce yourself, state your issue, and offer solutions. Get to know their media team and chief of staff.

America is run by and for the people. Keep your mind and heart open, study what matters to you, and make your voice heard at the ballot box! Keep on rolling, keep on living.
